About the event
Please join us for a fundraising event for Ukraine.
We all see the devastation that is happening on the news and feel so helpless. We want to bring together the businesses & people of Derby to do what we can and this event enables us to come together under one roof to raise vital funds and donations for the people of Ukraine.
Join us for networking, music, street food, family friendly activities, independent stalls, raffle and donation station.
Come along after work to network, meet your friends for a social, bring the kids for some half term fun or simply come to donate. Whatever works for you!
Here’s how you can get involved:
Attend the event -
Date: Monday 11th April
Time: 4.30pm – 7pm
Location: Bustler Market @ The Chocolate Factory
Entry: Donation per person on entry (recommended entry £2) You can pay on entry or buy a ticket via eventbrite
Donate Prizes -
We’d love some great prizes to form part of our raffle so any donations of vouchers, experiences or physical prizes would be much appreciated.
Sponsor an acitivity -
The majority of our activities and venue have been kindly donated for free which is fantastic, but we are looking for businesses to sponsor (or provide) some activities such as children’s activities, live music or any other suggestions.

Donation Station -
As well as everything mentioned above we are also turning Bustler into a donation station for people wanting to contribute physical items to the appeal.
The current list of suggested items from our work with the Derby Ukrainian Youth Centre are as follows:

NO CLOTHING OR FOOTWEAR
Nappies
Sanitary products
Baby and disinfectant wipes
First aid kits/bandages/plaster
Non-prescription painkillers
Toiletries ie soap, shampoo
New hairbrushes
New socks and underwear
Torches and batteries
Toothbrushes and toothpaste
Blankets – good condition
Crayons and colouring books
Non-perishable food (not tins or baby food)
